38450- Electronic tactile measurement instrument (electronic Von Frey)

The electronic tactile measurement instrument (e-VF) is designed by Ugo Basile and is used to evaluate allergies and tactile pain in rats and mice. This device can automatically record the duration and intensity of animal stimulation. The unique prism design makes it very easy to observe the plantar area of the animal during the experiment. During the testing process, the device can automatically sense the withdrawal of the test animal's claw, or it can be manually judged through a foot switch. Experimenters can adjust the stimulation frequency themselves, and e-VF includes software that can store hundreds of experimental data and can be easily imported into a computer.

The selection of stimulation force can be set by oneself or assisted by the e-VF software tool to achieve the desired state. The instrument includes a control system with built-in memory function and a new DCA software for signal detection, data analysis, and conversion. After saving the data, it can be browsed on the control system, or converted into Excel or TXT files and saved on the computer for data analysis and processing.
